Reggio Emilia is a city in Emilia-Romagna, Italy.
It's on the Via Emilia, next to Milan, between Parma and Modena.

Located in Northern Italy, in the Po River Valley, at about 50 km from Bologna, on the Via Emilia, Reggio Emilia borders Parma’s territory to the west and Modena’s territory to the east. In the north, the Po River separates its territory from the province of Mantua, while in the south the Apennines mark the border with Liguria and Tuscany.

Known as the “City of the Tricolour”, Reggio Emilia is also remembered as the birthplace of the national flag, in 1797.

It has many popular attractions, including Cattedrale di Reggio Emilia, Sala del Tricolore, Square Antonio Fontanesi, making it well worth a visit.

Famous for its gastronomy, known for producing Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and balsamic vinegar, lifestyle quality Reggio Emilia is also a town of art, whose symbols are the XVII-century Basilica della Ghiara and the famous Teatro Municipale Valli. Contemporary aspects are also visible, for those who drive along the A1 motorway, in the bridges designed by architect Santiago Calatrava for the Alta Velocità (High Speed) Railway Station.

Reggio Emilia is also the town of music and big artists: in the Teatro Municipale Valli debuted for the first time Luciano Pavarotti, it is the birthplace of big names as Zucchero, Ligabue, Orietta Berti, Iva Zanicchi, Nomadi and hosts the biggest open-air concert arena in Europe, the RCF Arena, with Harry Styles and Zucchero who performed last summer 2023.

Reggio Emilia is 35 km from the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, Modena, is located not far from Ferrari's headquarters and factory. It records the history of Ferrari from 1947 to the present and shows people the rare Ferrari models that have been preserved to this day.

Also 50 km from the Lamborghini Museum, located in Sant Agata Bolognese, a small town between Bologna and Modena. Due to the existence of Lamborghini, it has become famous and can be said to be a well-deserved car home, so car fans must not miss. The Lamborghini Museum was opened to the public in 2001. For the first time, precious exhibits of Lamborghini car culture were exhibited to the public in the form of a museum.
